This is going to be a rough day.  I am still tired from yesterday!  I don't know how I will make it through the day.  My co-worker called in sick so now what?  I don't know I am just going to try to make it I guess.

13 hours of hell. Thank God it is my last week!

Well I put in my two weeks notice today. It went well, even though the second week I will be on vacation. It is kinda crapy of me to do it like that but I already had the vacation time set up. So, basically next week will be my last week. Well I am off to get ready to go have a few drinks with AM. I think that I am going to go with jack and coke tonight.

I have other big news to post but I think I will wait till tomorrow.

Well it is official I was offered the job. I will now be in the research field. There is more money in this side of the job. On the flip side, it is considered the dark side by many in my line of work. This was the way that I wanted to go when I first got started but the other job was so much fun with the puppies and kittens. This is much more interesting. The projects are always changing and you get to be part of something a little bit bigger.

I don't know what is in the air, but this is GI week at work. Not only does every patient of mine have some kind of gastrointestinal disorder they are almost all cats. I have got bites and scratches all over my arms. I must have taken at least 75 radiographs in the last week.

We have an interesting case that may be pacreatitis or he could be diabetic or who really knows. The problem is the test results say that if we feed him we could make him a lot worse fast, and its a cat so it can only a couple days with out food before it gets fatty liver disease.

We have three other cases of vomiting due to mysterious causes. The blood work shows nothing, the radiographs show nothing(even with a barium series), and antibiotics really do not seem to be helping.

We have a cat that may be obstructed by hairballs and a dog that may be obstructed by acorns (that is really a new one).

I have the next three days off so I can't wait to get back and see what has happened.

I am on the edge. I want to quit my job so freaking bad. I have to work sat. and sun. and only have one day off next week. I really hate the fact that some people in charge can't tell some other people with these wise ideas no! I would have quit a long time ago if I had to take some people shit all the time and left said person screwed. I am working a couple of these two weekend days before I tell them that I am going to have to quit if it continues. The problem is I am pretty sure that they would know that I am bluffing seeing that I can not get health insurance any where else. I hate being trapped at a job because it is the only place I can get the insurance. Just kill me now. Really need a drink now. None of that really made any since and it looks like I need to work on sentence structure but I do feel much better now.
