Well I am leaving for texas this afternoon. It should be fun. I will be sure to post when I get back. I worked hard all week and am really ready for this weekend. Got off work at noon today, cant beat that.

i suggested a new drug for pain relief in the rabits. That went over very well. The upside of the drug that I recommended is that it only has to be given once a day. That helps stick to the protocol.

So this weekend was not a total waste even with all the rain. On Friday I went to the horse races with C&B that was a lot of fun. I worked a few hours on Sat. and this morning and I have gotten a lot of reading done for work. There is so much to learn and so little time. Today if it clears up a little bit I am going to take my little sister out and try to teach her to drive. That should be interesting.

This is going to be a horrible weekend. Brendan is not coming home this weekend and I am going to be bored out of my mind. I guess I will get a lot done around the house. The boxwood in the front still needs to be trimmed and there are probably about a billion other things that I can do. I am used to doing these things with someone else to keep me company though.

I just have to say my new job is great. I am always off on time and I am learning a ton (with really smart people - their hard to run across you know). I like science and I am learning a lot of science stuff. They have an electron microscope which is really cool. Any way its really cool and themice are very cute.
