I am so tired. I could not sleep last night and I had to be up early to go to work this morning. There is a lot of physical activity involved with my job and I am just beat. The job is very cool though and I am really learning a lot. I hope that everything works out.

My garden is doing great and I bet the rain that we get today will really help. I am going to have a load of squash here in just a few days. My pea plants are blooming but still no peas and my tomato plants are really trying very hard.

I haven't heard from Brendan yet but he is moving in to apartment today I think so I am sure it will be a while before I hear from him.

It is finally friday and Brendan will be coming back tonight. He is going to have to take some of our furniture after all and we still need to find him a bed. So far it sounds like everything is going good for him except for the part were he had to find some place to live.

There are still some final things I need to complete my wardrobe for work that I will need to get this weekend. I have Monday off, but I am very excited to get back in there for good. There is a routine that you kind of get down and when you get that down fast enough that is when all the fun starts. Once I get that down that is when I get to start helping with procedures and special treatments.

I think that I am going to like the job but I have not come across any one who openly opposers it yet. That will be interesting when it happens.

So it is only wed. and this has been a very long week. I miss Brendan so much already. Today when I woke up was the worst. Nomally when I wake up I start pestering Brendan to wake up and start doing stuff with me. This morning I woke up and reallized that all day I would have to do stuff all day with out him. Oh well, I made good use of the day anyway. Tomorrow I have lunch planned with my mom and sisters.

Work was really cool. Very hard work, though. I am sore to day from all the lifting. The mice are so cute and the babies are so delicate I am scared to pick them up. There are also this mice that are called hoppers and they jump (imagine that). Well I had two of them hop right out of my hands and I had to catch them. That was very scary. Any way there will be a lot more to come.

This week went by so fast. I am very nervous about the next week. I start my new job and Brendan is off to start his. I hope all goes well this week for bot of us. I have a feeling my new job is going to be very interesting but only time will tell.

There is so much going on now I have had little time to post. We are just running around getting ready for our new jobs. It is just does not end. The week is flying by and Brendan leaves on Monday.

13 hours of hell. Thank God it is my last week!

I have a pet chicken. This chicken lives in our front yard and I have decided to name him Fred Astaire (I think he is a boy). He has been out in the front yard for the last three mornings and I have been giving him some bread. Brendan thinks that I am just helping to bulk him up for someone's table but I think that if I can get him to live at the vacant house next to us maybe he will be spared (not likely).

Well it looks like the old DH will be heading off to Tyler, TX for his internship. This is great. It is just what he wanted and it is more money for us (at least this summer).

Well I put in my two weeks notice today. It went well, even though the second week I will be on vacation. It is kinda crapy of me to do it like that but I already had the vacation time set up. So, basically next week will be my last week. Well I am off to get ready to go have a few drinks with AM. I think that I am going to go with jack and coke tonight.

I have other big news to post but I think I will wait till tomorrow.

Well it is official I was offered the job. I will now be in the research field. There is more money in this side of the job. On the flip side, it is considered the dark side by many in my line of work. This was the way that I wanted to go when I first got started but the other job was so much fun with the puppies and kittens. This is much more interesting. The projects are always changing and you get to be part of something a little bit bigger.
